GameCube is old now!

I think gamecube is getting old becuase they don't make gamecube games anymore.

I'm really sad cause of this i posted this cause my brother said so.

Well, Nintendo has no use for the Gamecube now. So why do they have to make more games. It makes me sad aswell, But things Change!

well gamecube is old yes but not older than nes and nes is still popular so i think people will still play gamecube even if its old

Think about it logically, why would they make Gamecube games? Think about it from a marketing point of view, Nintendo has just realesed a shiny new console, they want everyone to buy this, so they stop making Gamecube games to encourage you to upgrade. And it's not too bad, just buy a Wii... You can play your old Gamecube games on it (well, all the old Nintendo console games -> emulator) and keep up to date with the new Wii games

I doubt it's gonna happen...I never really bought a gamecube, my bro bought it from his friend like a few years ago for like $5 lol since hd didn't wanna play it anymore...But, I only got 2 games for the gamecube which one was for my birthday like 2-3 years ago and I got another game just so I can get a first game to play.

They have made a new one, it's called the Nintendo Wii... Gamecube's gone, Nintendo isn't re-visiting it. Just like the Nintendo 64 (and many others consoles, it just came to mind first) Gamecube is all old and outdated.
Why do you want them to make a "new Gamecube" so much anyway? Do you really see any point whatsoever in upgrading it?

Gamecube is FTW! I would like for them to still make games for it but I just don't see any marketing or logical reasons to keep making them. Basically what Medianoche/Del said. The Wii has come out, and Nintendo is trying to sell it. While I prefer the GC to the Wii, the Wii isn't bad either. No bob, not ALL Wii games are crap. No one has a gun to your head telling you to buy the crap and avoid the gems (or do they? ). The Wii has Madworld, No More Heroes 1 and 2 (awesome), Metroid Prime Trilogy, SSBB, MKW (I prefer Double Dash on GC though), Metal Slug Anthology, Wario Land: Shake It, and many more. So everyone quit bitching, and just avoid the crap. That's what I do and would you look at that, NO SHOVELWARE IN HERE!

Gah, I've gone off topic. Even though Gamecube is old now, it's still one of my favorite consoles and my personal pick for console of the decade (sorry Dreamcast). Like I've said many times before though, nothing will EVER top the SNES or Genesis/Mega Drive(You happy now? I said Mega Drive. IT'S NOT OUR FAULT WE GOT A DIFFERENT NAME! )
