Update 8/15/09

Hey everyone, it's me, bob8972 here again, and i have made a new update today. *Children screaming in the background* Yes i know, quite exciting. This is rather a small update....but also a BIG one, well has one big thing.

1- The Battle Arena is finally out- Remember about a month or two ago how i announced that i will make a RPG like game on the forum? Well that time has come at last! Time to spend some points people because the "GF Battle Arena" is now open for business. It's pretty simple on how to play, click here for pretty much every about the game.

I need to make a "How to play" topic which i will make tomorrow. So the Arena is locked as of now, but that doesn't mean you can't still join a team? You have a choice to join one of 2 teams, the "Red Team" or the "Blue Team", just choose your favorite color, if red or blue isn't your favorite color...then tough, just pick one! Just PM me and ask what team you will like to join so i can add you to it. Oh and yes, this WILL cost points to play, because you have to buy items in order to play. So I'm giving 100 free points to you if you join a team, but don't just join to get points....because that will make me angry. But this will be fun, there will be achievements to earn and such. So just keep on playing Wink

P.S. I also added some Stats to your profile, for if you play in the game only. Only administrators can edit it so ask one of us if it needs to be changed.
P.S.S I also would like to play the game, so i will take turns being on teams. After every battle i will switch, rotate back and forth. Because it wouldn't be fair if i was on one team and not the other.

2- Levels added- I have added a new exciting, out of nowhere, feature to your profiles. Really this was just a last minute thing i felt like adding. The level thing is just to how strong you are. You can get achievements and points for reaching a certain level.

It is easy to get to level 2 by the way, you just need 20 exp. to get to it which isn't going to be hard, you have to get more experience over time as each level grows.

Note: For those of you who have A LOT of posts, or so, you are higher than level 1, i will change your levels later, but you got to help me out with that because that's to much for me to do.
You can only see your experience points on your profile.

3- Blogs, Blogs, Blogs!!!- Want to have your own blog, without making a website? You know for updates for something or whatever you would like to talk about. Well you can know do that without leaving the comfort of Gaming Forum.

4- New forums, like always- Yea, like you didn't see this coming. Well i have added a few new forums, we already know about the Battle Arena, the battle arena sub-forums, and Blogs, but there is more.

By the way, i have deleted the "Comics" forum, i'm sure none of you care since you guys never posted there, well i moved all of the topics there to "Off-topic" so if there's any you want to see, just look for them in the "Off-topic" forum, their somewhere, but please don't bump them, you can read them, just don't bump the topic without asking first please. Thanks!

5- Background still in process- Yes we are still working...or debating about the background, the current one that you see will NOT be the permenate one. For it doesn't look like something that belongs as a background, more like a banner. So there might be a new banner sometime soon.

6- Thinking about deleting some forums and smiles- Yep I might delete some forums and more smiles. There are some forums that aren't really necessary to have because they are never being talked on. So go here to discuss which ones that you think we should get rid of.

As for smiles, we will worry about that a little later, but not a long time from now, let's worry about the forums first, then the smiles.
I have been wanting to do this, the update has inspired me to bring it up now.

7- Arcade notice- I do apologize for not adding any arcade games recently, i know i said i was going to do that in the LAST update, you all really just have me to blame for being lazy, but now since i have started school, i might only be able to do this on the weekends. So i might do new arcade games every weekend for a while Very Happy

! Please remind me because i always forget about the arcade games.

Well this update was longer then i planned, good, that means I have brought on more smiles to all of you Smile
