smax4pnp?
Heyo, I know this isn't related to gaming but it is to Microsoft and you don't have a tech support forum so I thought I'd put it here, anyway, here goes;
My laptop runs slower than usual sometimes and completely crashes, I ended all applications and try to restart, I get the message, "ending smax4pnp", sure enough I end it but I check my processes now and there it is, ending the process causes no harm but does anyone know how to get rid of this, I think it's affecting my laptop and making it un-stable? I hear it's a pre-installed driver or something and I tried to fix it but yeah... Anyone know how to help me? If it's any help I got a pre-owned Toshiba Tecra

I would try to help if I knew what the heck you were talking about. Wait, my dad works for a computer service thing, so I'll try to get him to post later. He's awesome at this kind of stuff.v

smax4pnp.exe is a process installed alongside the Analogue Devices range of audio products. "This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.\r

Cool, thanks Allen, I did check around and nothing really seemed to help so much, but thanks anyway
