Anyone here have braces? I Have them but they are coming out in a few months! cheers

I Hate them! Sometimes i get steak and thing stuck in them and takes forever to brush it out

Not really, but it's like you can't eat food when you first get them on cause it's like you forget how to chew and eat lol.

I had mine put in about year 5 and taken out year 6, had to wear a retainer for about an extra year, I hated it! I can remeber the first night I had braces I'd just gotten home and mum had ordered fish and chips for dinner (one of my favourite) anyone that's had braces will know how painful they are, I couldn't even eat a chippie! And then I had to get my top gum cut and stitches put in, oh and the wires were constantly cutting my gums, it hurt so much Sad

Yea a lot of gums don't stick to your braces at all, but just no really thick and chewy gums. I couldn't live with just Freedent! The flavor goes away after 5 minutes!

I never tried to eat gum with my braces but I did once try with a toffee lolly and it get stuck in them and then ripped out a wire x_x;
