never really played the game but i'd have to say cloud cuz he was awesome in kingdom hearts!

I'd have to say Sephiroth, he looks awsome (I love his hair, it is so cool!) and he had a brilliant story line, and yeah... He was just great Smile

Vivi (Black mages are awesome anyway)
Montblanc (MOOGLE!!)
Zell (Powerful character, chokes on hot dogs)
Auron (Badass)

I have a few faves.
Tidus for one. The main guy of FFX. After all "It was his story" and he played a giant role so he is one.
Auron cuz he is one bad ass mofo! In the game he had awesome quotes and had a cool storyline to his life.'
Cloud is one too. After seeing Advent Children I noticed I wanted his Motorbike + Sword and his name so yeah.

Others that didn't quite make the cut:
Wakka - The guy makes me laugh and without humor in FF I'd be crying the whole game through.
Seymour - Oh why did he have to be bad?! I love his summon "Anima" and his hairstyle is awesome.
Jecht - Unlikely choice but he was pretty cool to I gotta admit.
