persona 4 game review

i just got the game so i think i should make a review of it since i spoiled myself about the game like 3/8 of it but anyways:

Shin Megami Tensei:Persona 4



Atlus's New release Persona 4. The game takes place 1 year after the end of persona 3.

You play as a high-schooler with a power called a persona(but u already know that from the last review) however this is not the same protagonist.

Protagonist:


the game is set in a location called YASOINABA A country side area. The protagonist has just moved from the city due to his parents working overseas meeting new friends such as Yosuke Hanamura,Chie Satonaka,and Yukkiko Amagi:

the protagonist is informed about the midnight channel a channel which can only be viewed in midnight when it is raining with the tv turned off the main character puts his hand through the tv which disturbs him. the next day he,yosuke,and chie go to junes and fall into the tv(the world in the tv is what it is called original eh?)so they discover this world and later find out that the MURDERS are cause by someone throwing people in the tv world and that they are called by their OWN SHADOWS when they refuse to accept it as themselves and they are also killed when the fog sets in in the real world which makes Shadows agitated. They then make it their TOP PRIORITY to rescue anyone who appears on the midnight channel before the fog lifts in the tv world.

there have been many changes in this game and For the better too first of all you know the gun like evokers used to summon personas in persona 3?
you guessed it gone instead they are replaced by breaking tarot cards:

The music is just as incredible as Persona 3 if not better

the graphics are roughly about the same so i'll give it credit for that

The Storyline:IT IS AMAZING that is all i have to say for that.better than persona 3 in my opinion

Length:A lengthy 70-120 Hours of awesome gameplay contains 3 ENDINGS:BAD,NORMAL,AND TRUE ENDING. And a New Game+

Challenge:I'd give it a 9.1

Controls:Very good except the camera control it'l take you awhile to fully grasp how to work it so i'll give it a 8.9

so overall:

PROS:LENGTHY STORYLINE,TONS OF NEW PERSONAS,has 3 difficulties EASY,NORMAL,EXPERT,AWESOME STORYLINE,SOCIAL LINKS CHARACTERS SOMETIMES TALK,A VERY GOOD CHALLENGE,GOOD music which matches every mood in the game.

CONS:CAMERA CONTROL,The new shuffle for me it's kind of tricky to get the right card i want.

In contrast i conclude that:Persona 4 is again another MUST HAVE for the ps2 might i mention it is ONLY for the PS2. Fans of Persona 3 will Enjoy this game as much as the other one.

That clears things up. Sounds like a good game but the story line is a little hard to follow. I have a question, is there a Persona 1 and 2?

yep however they are for the ps1 in my knowledge

They still make games for PlayStation 2? wow.

well i guess that's an upside for me i think it may be the last persona game on ps2 that kinda sucks since i don't have a ps3 or xbox but still.

k but i must tell you though atlus's games are so freakin rare due to the fact they don't print out that much. i got lucky since i reserved mine but still pretty good still can't get over the fact that nocturne is 45 bucks and it was released 7 years ago wow.

Nice review of it me too i have it 9.9 and i'm not a rpg fan but only a fan of persona lol.

haha i'm more of a casual gamer but i instantly loved the persona series, the final fantasy series, and pokemon too
