Platinum?? Complete lulz. I do understand that pokemon games kick ass, but what in the hell is up with the colors?
Red Version rocked
So did blue
Yellow version was basically a marketing deal, everyone loved pikachu
Silver and crystal were awesome as well
Pretty much everything beyond those were meh.
Now what we are missing is a black version and a (highlight if you please) white version. Oh sure, people will complain about the so called racist qualities of those colors, but hey, at least it's original.

i think the new game will be awesome! But after this their only missing one thing:
the johto remakes
p.s i've heard rumors that it might come out in 2009 as duskgold and dawn silver

Without a doubt in my opinion it's just going to be a spin-off of Diamond and Pearl (much the same as Emerald was a spin-off of Ruby and Sapphire)... It'll have basiclly the same game play, the same and the same region just a few new additions for a hopefully smother gameplay, I wouldn't get your hopes up too high, it's just going to be the same as Diamond and Pearl, another cheap way for the Pokemon company to further drain the series
